Natural Soap, Made by Hand on Galway Bay
Galway Bay Soap is a small independent business based in Barna, Co. Galway, on the shores of beautiful Galway Bay. Each soap is handmade in small batches, combining simple ingredients, traditional soapmaking and a love of creating something a little different.
From fresh milks and seaweed to oatmeal, honey, herbs and spices, a wonderful variety of ingredients goes into the Galway Bay Soap range. Soaps are scented with carefully selected essential oils, while herbs, spices and natural ingredients are used to create their distinctive colours and character.
Inspired by Natural Ingredients
There’s something for everyone in the Galway Bay Soap collection. You’ll find traditional favourites such as Lavender alongside soaps made with goat's milk, sheep's milk and coconut milk, refreshing citrus blends, exfoliating varieties and soaps incorporating seaweed and carrageen moss from the Atlantic.
Every bar has its own character, scent and combination of ingredients, but they all share the same small-batch, handmade approach.

Naturally Simple
Galway Bay Soap keeps things simple. The soaps are palm oil-free and minimally packaged to help reduce unnecessary waste, with the focus firmly on the soap itself.
Essential oils provide beautiful natural fragrances, while ingredients such as herbs and spices are used throughout the range rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all recipe.

Galway Bay Soap takes its name from the place it calls home. From Barna on the edge of Galway Bay, each batch is made by hand before finding its way to customers looking for something locally made, natural and full of character.
